About Me

I’m Ruth Bagnall, a professional organiser, interior stylist, and lifelong creative based in Birmingham. I help people create calm, functional homes full of character - spaces that make everyday life feel easier and more enjoyable.
With a background in theatre design and over 20 years working in costume and prop design, I’ve spent my career thinking creatively and facing interesting challenges. I take a calm, friendly, and completely non-judgemental approach to every project, helping you make space for what truly matters.
Whether you’re a busy family, a small business, or simply ready for a fresh start, I’ll work with you to create a home that feels lighter, calmer, and truly yours.
My background
BA (Hons) Theatre Design - specialising in costume and set design.
Over 20 years’ professional experience in theatre, costume making, and teaching.
Small business owner, creative maker, and parent - I understand how full life can be!
Currently developing skills in ADHD-friendly organising techniques, so I can support clients with neurodiverse needs in a gentle, adaptable way, and I am registered and trained with APDO (Association of Professional Declutters and Organisers).
When I’m not organising…
You’ll find me sewing in my garden studio, hunting for vintage items in my local charity shop, or spending time with my family. I love British wildlife, folklore, and finding beauty in everyday details — inspiration that often finds its way into the spaces I help create.
